Empowering the Future Workforce: Ludeco Director and Industry Leaders Share Insights with SMK Students at IKN

As part of the Wiramuda Academy program presented by Diskbud Kaltim and supported by Aloshop by Shipper, vocational high school (SMK) students in East Kalimantan received valuable, real-world career preparation through a series of expert-led training sessions held on May 7–8, 2025, at Ruang Kresik Luway, Diskbud Kaltim, in the heart of Indonesia’s new capital city (IKN).

The two-day program featured renowned professionals from leading industries, each offering unique perspectives tailored to equip students for the workforce and digital economy.

On May 7, Deden Sarjana, President Director of PT. Ludeco Builder Perlente, led a session focused on Workforce Readiness for Final Year SMK Students. Drawing from his leadership in the premium building materials sector, Deden shared insights into personal branding, professional mindset, and the skillsets required to enter today’s evolving construction and design industries.

The program continued on May 8 with sessions tailored to SMK grade XI students, focusing on digital marketing in the modern business landscape.

Jessica Hendrawidjaja, Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at Shipper, brought deep industry knowledge to the seminar. Known for driving innovation in logistics and e-commerce solutions, Jessica provided students with an inside look into how technology transforms businesses, emphasizing the importance of digital adaptability, strategic thinking, and creativity in marketing.

Joining her was Joseph Adrian, Social Commerce Lead at Aloshop by Shipper, who specializes in connecting brands with audiences through social platforms. Joseph’s session explored how students can leverage social commerce trends, content creation, and digital engagement to build strong, marketable brands — even from a young age.

All sessions were conducted live at the venue and also made accessible online via Zoom and livestreamed through Diskbud Kaltim’s official YouTube channel, ensuring wide accessibility for students across the region.

As East Kalimantan positions itself at the center of national development through IKN, initiatives like Wiramuda Academy play a key role in bridging education with industry. With support from seasoned professionals and corporate partners, this program empowers young Indonesians with practical knowledge, digital skills, and the confidence to step boldly into their careers.
